Melissa Harris
Fashion Design
Program Head

Melissa is a graduate of the Helen Lefaux School of Fashion.

Her specialty is custom graduation and bridal gown design, in addition, she has her own line of seasonal urban clothing, “Mishkav”, which retails out of a local Victoria boutique.

Melissa‘s “Passion for Fashion” is expressed in all areas of the fashion business, from teaching to designing clothing and producing fashion shows.



Mary Bryan
Fashion Design
Instructor

Mary has been working in the fashion industry for over 10 years, beginning with starting up her own label of designs for women, which led to her opening up a clothing boutique in Vancouver.

After selling her shop in 2003, Mary moved to Shanghai to work at Mod'Art School of Design as well as act as Style Editor for Scene Shanghai Magazine. She moved back to her native Victoria tobegin 2007 as a member of the Fashion Design Department at Pacific Design Academy.



Mica Marsh
Fashion Design Instructor

Mica Marsh is a graduate from Fleuri Delaporte, L’ecole de Stylisme in Paris, France. She became a recipient of the Pierbe Stylist Award in Paris which allowed her to apprentice in Italy and France before returning to Toronto to work as a freelance designer and illustrator.

She launched her own label in 1982 but then chose to return to Paris where she worked for some of the world’s major fashion houses for another twelve years. Apart from fashion, she brings a diversity of professional and teaching experience in Art and Costume and Set Design.
